The Characters
In the city of Sylhet, Bangladesh, we meet Sadia Choudhury, a 12 years old girl who doesn’t like to listen to what people say to her. She lives in Sylhet, Bangladesh, and cherishes her family and friends.
At the start of your visit to Bangladesh, you will find Sadia walking on the streets of her neighborhood as she takes detours to school and messing around with her friends and family.
Her character setup is an up-to-no-good child, who will be seen in town trying to find ways to get free snacks, pulling pranks, and cutting the line to rides or worse, taking you on her misadventures as she tries to hide from her parents, who are trying to get her back to school to study for her upcoming exams.
Ali the Local Cat
Ali is the local cat in town who goes at their own pace and doesn’t care for much in this world.
They enjoy taking naps near the rice paddy fields and is an avid “bird watcher’ who would never harm a fly while watching them (the birds) from afar. (At least not when anyone is watching them)
Hates Sadia because she pulls on his tail and causes nothing but harm for him, whenever he is alone. Always hissing at her to show who’s boss but Sadia never learns and ends up getting stretched by him!
Mustava, the Town’s Merchant
Mustava the town’s merchant. He has all the latest goodies at his shop from delicious tea bags to the latest games to play, he has it all!
He enjoys company and is always ready to tell you a story about the village he grew up in or how he became a merchant, to begin with. His story always seems to change depending on the person so no one really knows how became the local merchant however, pay attention to his shop and you might find clues to his past. He is, after all, an open book!
He loves Sadia but doesn't like it when she lies to him about her day. He knows she isn’t the best student around but is always there for her when she needs a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on.
Take A Trip Through The Town
Upon arival to Sylhtet, Bangldesh you will find yourself at the crossroads of mutliple events happening through the villiage.
If you choose to walk straight ahead, you will find yourself in the heart of the village, the Botanical Garden, where wild fruits and vegetables can be found and harvested fro your delight.
Inspirations
As you walk through Bangladesh, look around the farms and villages near the rivers. An abundance of life and culture can be seen for miles on as you witness the locals go about their daily routines. But do keep an eye out for Sadia, for she will do whatever she likes and bring you along her misadventures across the town.
If you follow her, you’ll be guided on a boat tour ride, which isn’t what it seems once aboard the boat.
